  • The meta-analysis was indeed flawed and biased. Very nice analogy about married people.
    Many people are ill because of degenerative diseases. Oxidative damage can make cells unhealthy which could lead to these diseases. We truly need antioxidants to maintain healthy cells.
  • I've been thinking that all these supplements are made to compensate the amount of various vitamins lacking in our everyday food, i.e. they are natural and made of things you can otherwise get by taking in the right kind (and an adequate amount) of fruits/vegetables/nuts/milk/etc. How such things can cause death in human is a secret to me:( If you take 750 people and would observe them for some more or less long period of time - some of they may die, just because people die from time to time... it's normal... it's not obligatory that they die because of using supplements, there may be 10001 reasons for it...
