  • Marc, first off I appreciate your show and thing you have a lot of great information and observations. I've been a listener for about 4 months. This latest podcast really hit me. I've been over cutting and not realizing it.

Last month i hit a plateau - i know my workouts were not the best and i had not been feeling all that great despite a really low intake. i started today - adding a cheat day and some more good caloires. thanks for being honest with your learning it really helps us..

  • Jeff,

It helps me too to be honest and I'm only trying to pass along good information. Maybe mine, maybe somebody else's. My promise from Day 1 upon doing this podcast was to try and assist people to avoid the mistakes that I made.

I'm human like anybody else and I have a life outside of bodybuilding.

I thought I was bulking or at least maintaining and here I was maybe around 35% or so in a calorie deficit!?

Needless to say, I am eating more now and feeling better. It's human to make mistakes. I know how to correct them and I just wanted to remind anybody else out there, get a baseline.
  • hi marc i think you are utterly correct so i have tried to alter things around i have lowered my workouts to 1 hour periods 3 times a week i have upped my calorie intake to 3200 calories a day but i can only fit in 4 meals a day,but since all these changes i dont feel i am making any progress ,do you think this may just be because i have changed everything around ..........dave
