Hey Marc - great website and awesome blog. I drink the RTD Muscle Milk shakes and I think they taste great. But are these products really advantageous? I know everyone has their own goals, mine is to get leaner and build more mass. Does Muscle Milk really help with this, and would Monster Milk help with this?

Monster Milk!
Ok, so every time a new "super protein" comes out I get very suspicious. I have always been a fan of ON's pro complex and BSNs Syntha-6. When this came out I thought it would either be awesome, or I'd junk it like Nitro-tech hardcore...Easily the worst protein I have ever taken...I mean, it had decent results, but tasted horid and gave me awful gas. So, to the point. I tried this stuff and it's fantastic. Nothing short. It's a super High quality proten, lots of protein (yes there is only 12 servings, but do you really need all 50 grams of protein from one source? make some eggs...), and it's got Kre-Alkalin in it...the best creatine out there. So, all in all, but the stuff. It's high quality, high in protein, uses Kre-Alkalyn, and most important-tastes AMAZING.

Being a huge fan of Muscle Milk, I decided to try Cytosport's newest protein powder, Monster Milk. As the previous reviewer stated, it's not exactly the best deal on the market, with only 12 servings in each bottle. The first thing I noticed is that the directions recommend mixing two scoops with 18-20 ounces of water! While that's a lot of shake, it does taste awesome, it's full of high-quality protein, not to mention all the amino acids and creatine, and it did not bloat me at all. I would definitely recommend Monster Milk.

Gr 10 in highschool, and i just started taking this stuff.
now, the only part that scares me about this is the "anabolic" part
i really dont wanna be a roid junkie, plus i heard that anabolic steroids make your boobs grow big..
yuk, i am gonna limit my intake on this stuff until i get an answer

neeL all the word anabolic means is muscle-building. for a quick lesson on steroids they are classified in 2 categories - anabolic (muscle-building) or androgenic (increased male qualities). Anyway, don't worry about that. Monster Milk is a great supplement, a little costly, but nonetheless it is a great supplement. One other supplement that I have had better results with, is called MUSCLE. Protein levels are not as high because they have processed them down into their more basic states, which makes them easier to digest. It is even more costly (60$) but it works great (iwantmuscle.com) Hope this helps.

I just bought monster milk i haven't tried it yet.. i heard all these body building supplements are fake and people are getting riped off. i think if people want to get big stay in the gym for 3 hours and beat your muscles to the bone and eat like an animal after you leave.. stop taking stuff at vitamine shopp gnc and other places people are getting sick and going nutz because nothing is working.. Human Growth Hormone should be sold anywhere and anytime its the truth to growing muscle and getting hair growth. enough with the government skeems and taking our money,.
