  • no shit eh

I went out to my first Oktoberfest last weekend and yes, I drank. Excessively actually. No moderation at all.
  • Thank you Rob for reminding us you can still "have a life" and be successful. I've seen your story and your transformation pictures. It's obvious you can still have a life and become extremely fit.
  • Hey Marc,

I agree with you on the unrealistic advice. That is something I try to avoid as much as possible. My advice is based on my own expereicnes so they are at least realistic to me. I consider myself to be an average guy and that is who I write for.

I actually just put up a post earlier today on moderation. check it out. I don't avoid any foods (drinks included), I can only handle so much chicken and vegetables.

Hopefully you wouldn't group me into the unrealistic advice catergory.

    Take Care,
    Steve
  • Love your blog, you have a new fan with me! Trying to get buffed here.
  • Here here!! This is one of the many reasons why so many people have difficulty starting and finishing their diet and training plans. Variation is so important, it keeps you interested and allows you to stay focused.
  • Hi Marc,

Nice post. There is more to life than boiled chicken. My fitness transformation is about being aware of my nutrition and exercise and I take it one day at a time. Rome wasn't built in a day. You are an inspiration.

  • theres some very well thort out advice there, but i quit alcohol till christmas, so far i havnt had a drink for 4 months while im training , if i do something i always do it properly , quality not quantity, and that chicken and veggies remark :P well i prety much fall in to that category :P my bad , but hey its life we choose down the long road , although i know life is to short so enjoy it but i am enjoying it i love working out seeing my gains every week , and not drinking alcohol that ruins ya liver , but oh well man , for wat we do in life it will stay with us for all eternity and i wana remember wat ive done in my life.

    cya dude :)
